38th Annual Sham Jam: Showdown: Pirates & Cowboys

March 23 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm

The 38th annual Sham Jam will feature a photo booth, live DJ, dancing, and—of course—beer and wine (included with your ticket)!
And don’t forget about the costume contest!
Prizes will be awarded to the best space pirates and cowboys.
This year’s Sham Jam will benefit SEAGLA, a non-profit organization that serves and benefits the LGBTQ community in Southeast Alaska.
Visit akshamjam.com or stop by and talk to staff in Rep. Carrick, Rep. Wright’s or Rep. Armstong’s offices for tickets.
Sham Jam is a 38-year tradition started by the late Senator Johnny Ellis. Though now known as the Sham Jam, the event was originally conceived as the Shamrock and Roll Dance in 1985 when Senator Ellis was working as legislative staff.
In memory of Senator Johnny Ellis, his friends, admirers, former staffers, and more invite you to honor his memory and legacy by supporting the 38th annual Sham Jam.
