FEMA Disaster Survivor Assistance Teams (DSAT) are set to visit neighborhoods in Juneau this week, providing support for residents affected by flooding from the Juneau Mendenhall Glacier on August 5-6.
The teams will work alongside tribal, state, city, and borough officials to assist residents with FEMA applications and address their immediate needs.
Residents can identify FEMA staff by their federal photo IDs and official clothing.
It’s important to ask for ID before sharing personal information.
Several options are available for residents to apply for disaster aid:

- Apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov for English or DisasterAssistance.gov/es for Spanish.
- Use the FEMA mobile app in English or Spanish.
- Call the FEMA Alaska Call Center at 866-342-1699 for assistance, with multilingual operators available.
