Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – As July 4th approaches, here are the designated hours for fireworks:
Wednesday, July 3**: 10 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.
Thursday, July 4**: Midnight – 1 a.m. & 10 a.m. – 11:59 p.m.
Due to Juneau’s unique landscape, sound from fireworks can travel farther and be louder than expected. Please be considerate of your neighbors and follow these guidelines.
Important Note: Concussive fireworks, like mortars, are only permitted outside the Fire Service Area (beyond Cohen Drive) on private property.
