Juneau Police Department attempts to locate Corey B. Coleman

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) – The Juneau Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Juneau resident Corey B. Coleman. Coleman is the suspect in a felony assault with a weapon that occurred on Wednesday near 33-mile Glacier Highway.

Coleman is described as a 54-year-old white male, 5’ 11” tall with a slender build. He has light brown hair and green eyes. He is missing part of a finger and may have other injuries to his left hand due to a gunshot injury.

Coleman’s last known location was walking on a trail toward the Berner’s Bay Cabin off of the dirt road at the end of Glacier Highway.  

JPD and Alaska State Troopers have conducted searches in the area and located signs consistent with his presence in that area within the last two days.
