Juneau, Alaska (KINY)- National Work Zone Awareness Week kicks off today, so Alaska Department of Transportation has a couple of reminders for work zone safety.
Drivers: please slow down, stay alert, and watch for new traffic patterns, road signs and flaggers in & around work zones.
Work zone crews: please follow safety guidelines that help prevent worker deaths and injuries.
