Notice of foreclosure sale by sealed bid of real property (520 6th Street)

The CBJ Assembly has adopted Ordinance 2023-36(b), an Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of Foreclosed Property for the property and home located at 520 Sixth Street, Juneau, Alaska.

This property will be sold to the highest bidder, payable at the time of sale.

This sale will be “As Is” and the CBJ disclaims any warranty as to the home, the land, or the condition of either, in any way. 

Because this is a foreclosure sale, bidders will not be able to access the home for examination, assessment, or appraisal.

The CBJ has no keys to the building; therefore, a successful bidder will need to arrange ways to access the building.

All potential bidders should review the applicable state law about the redemption period, improvements to the property during the redemption period, and rights of a successful bidder during the redemption period prior to bidding under AS 09.35.010 – .330.

The minimum bid amount is $100,000.

Bids are due by 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2024. Bids will be accepted by the CBJ Cash Office, 155 Heritage Way, Juneau, Alaska 99801.
