Sitka Bulletin Crime Report for Sept. 29 to Oct. 2

Sitka, Alaska (KINY) - The Sitka Police Department released a bulletin for reports between September 29th and October 1st.

September 29, 2023:

SPD received a report of a protective order violation. Aaron Przybycien was arrested on one count of violating a protective order.

SPD received a call about a stolen red, Nissan Sentra. The vehicle was last seen in the Edgecumbe Drive area on 9/28.

September 30, 2023:

On 9/4/23 at 10:37 AM, Pam Johnson called to report the Generator from the Sitka Salmon food cart was stolen between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM that morning. The Generator was operating behind the food cart and a male was observed walking away with the generator still running. The subject stopped and turned off the generator then turned up the alleyway next to Northrim Bank. The Generator, a Honda EU3200I, was valued at $3500.

Investigation revealed that Glen Roland Jones had stolen the generator and tried to trade it to Jordan. The generator was recovered from a residence on Halibut Point Road on 9/11/23.

October 1, 2023:

SPD received a report of a single motor vehicle accident with no injuries.
