$1.9M State Award will pave way for pedestrian safety in South Texarkana

Grady T. Wallace Park in Texarkana, Texas has been awarded $1.9 million from the state which will allow the city to construct a shared use path on its Southwest corner. The money will go toward a 10-foot-wide pedestrian-bicyclist path along the east side of Leopard Drive to Lake Drive, as well as a 6 foot wide sidewalk along the north side of Lake Drive to Lake Ridge Apartments.
