The Angel Fund Foundation, established in 2006 by cancer survivor Beth Morgan, has decided to dissolve after nearly two decades of supporting local cancer patients. In a recent vote, the Foundation’s Board chose to donate their remaining funds of $148,902.88 to Hospice of Texarkana.
Cindy Marsh, Executive Director of Hospice of Texarkana, expressed gratitude for the donation. “We feel fortunate that Beth Morgan and the Angel Fund Foundation Board have chosen us as the recipient of these assets,” she said. “It seemed like a perfect transition to use these funds to provide hospice care for cancer patients.”
The donation was formally presented at a reception held at the Hospice Care Center on Thursday, June 27, at 5:30 p.m.
