Main Street Texarkana has opened applications for the 40th Annual Christmas Parade, set for Monday, December 2, at 7 p.m. This year’s theme, “Christmas Through the Years,” invites participants to decorate lighted floats that showcase different historical periods. Floats, music, and a visit from Santa are expected to draw a crowd.
Applications are available at [www.mainstreettexarkana.org](http://www.mainstreettexarkana.org), with a new online submission option. Completed forms can also be mailed or dropped off at the Perot Theater.
On parade day, Sofie and the New Relics will perform from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Loading Dock stage. Tickets are $10, with free admission for kids 12 and under. For more information, contact 903-278-6441.
