Arkansas lawmakers voted yesterday to proceed with a legislative audit surrounding Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ $19,000 podium bought with taxpayer dollars. Two weeks ago Texarkana Republican Senator Jimmy Hickey moved for the audit as well as state police expenditures concerning the governor’s security that were retroactively exempted from public disclosure. The audit will likely take several months to complete.
