A Bowie County man will go to federal prison. 21 year old Lamarcus Vontino Moore Jr. pleaded guilty in court to conspiracy to commit bank fraud; he was sentenced to 18 months in federal prison and ordered to pay restitution of more than $257,000. Moore plotted with others to burglarize ATMs at two TEXAR Federal Credit Unions in 2021, getting away with over $135,000 and causing $60.000 worth of damage to each machine as chains attached to a stolen pickup truck broke the ATMs open. The other six people involved have already been sentenced.
