Investigators with Texarkana Arkansas Police Department are investigating the body of a man found in a field at the corner of Ida Avenue and Prospect Street on Sunday. The body of the unidentified, older white male was discovered by a passerby. Early police reports indicate the man had some visible signs of injury, potentially from being struck by a vehicle. Several residents at the scene said the man was known in the neighborhood and was often seen walking. Police continue to investigate the death.
