Construction of a new multi-million dollar water treatment plant will begin next year on TexAmericas property near Hooks. Cost of the Johnny Branson Regional Water Facility could go as high as $400 million but the new plant will allow Riverbend Water Resources to offer industrial customers raw water plus improve water quality and increase storage. The project could take up to two years to complete.
