Two men charged with first degree murder face a December 12th trial date. 53 year old Cedric Ballard and 35 year old Darquales “Smiley” McHenry are accused of beating Johnny Robinson to death a year and a half ago. Ballard allegedly believed Robinson, who sold cigarettes, beer and marijuana for him, had cheated him and paid McHenry $50 dollars to beat Robinson. If convicted of murder, they face up to 99 years or life in prison.
