Texarkana’s Domestic Violence Prevention, Inc. is gearing up for its annual Santa Store, providing gifts for families who have stayed in their shelter or received outreach services.

The store allows parents to select gifts for their children, helping restore dignity during difficult times. Each year, it serves 250-300 people, but this year they need $30,000 in cash and toy donations to meet the demand.

Items especially needed include gifts for babies under two and teenagers, such as makeup kits, journals, fishing poles, and bicycles.

Donations can be dropped off at 424 Spruce St., Texarkana, Texas, during business hours through December 13.
