Texas A&M University-Texarkana has reported record-breaking enrollment numbers this semester. According to University President Dr. Ross Alexander, the university has seen a 15% increase in on-campus students, making it one of the fastest-growing universities in the state and region.
Dr. Alexander attributed the growth to the university’s strong academic programs, vibrant campus life, and focus on workforce development. He also noted that more students are enrolling in classes than ever before.
Students like Mia Mata appreciate the university’s community atmosphere, noting the positive relationships with professors and the variety of athletic programs available.
The enrollment surge is also supported by Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s partnerships with local businesses and school districts, which offer special tuition scholarships to employees and students.
“At a time when many universities are facing declining enrollment, we are proudly doing the exact opposite,” Dr. Alexander said.
