A former KOA campground manager in Texarkana is accused of stealing over $107,000 in a 10-month period last year, according to Bowie County court filings.

Casey Don Raper, 35, allegedly forged checks, took extra salary payments, and misused company credit cards and bank accounts, a probable cause affidavit states. The alleged theft occurred between January and October 2023.

After Raper left his position in October, an audit by the company, Texarkana KOA, doing business as Luxury Lodges of Texas Inc., revealed the missing funds. A Texarkana Texas Police investigator later reviewed Raper’s bank records, which reportedly confirmed the theft.

Raper is charged with theft of more than $30,000 but less than $150,000. If convicted, he could face 2 to 10 years in prison.

The case is assigned to Fifth District Judge Bill Miller. Arrest and bond details were unavailable.
