The Texas Department of Transportation and RRCU are hosting a free car seat check in Texarkana on Saturday, September 21, as part of National Car Seat Saturday.
Parents or soon-to-be parents (at least 38 weeks pregnant) can bring their car seat, child or baby, driver’s license, and proof of residency to have their seat checked or replaced. If the child can’t be present, a doctor’s note with the child’s height and weight is required within 30 days. The event will take place at 4405 Summerhill Road, Texarkana, Texas. Texas residents can receive a free replacement seat with proof of residency.
