A Texarkana man died in a house fire Friday. The victim was identified as Richard Armstrong; he was alone in the house near Waterall and West 17th Street when TTFD crews arrived around 11AM. Armstrong’s body was found in the kitchen, the medical examiner will perform an autopsy and the cause of the blaze is unknown.
