Harvest Regional Food Bank in Texarkana received a $5,000 donation from the Wilbur Smith Rotary Club on Wednesday, November 20th.
Club leaders said the donation was inspired by the food bank’s quick response earlier this year to help the Beverly community in Texarkana, Texas, after a tornado struck the area.
Executive Director Camille Wrinkle said the funds will provide over 25,000 meals for the community. “We were able to get needed items to our neighbors rebuilding their lives,” Wrinkle shared.
