Hope schools receive donation, grant

Hope Public Schools has received a $660,000 anonymous donation to expand agriculture education programs.

Hope Public Schools has received a $660,000 anonymous donation to expand agriculture education programs.  The donation will be used with up to $434,000 of state matching funds for repairs to the Agri Building, with expected completion by the start of the 2024-2025 school year.  Hope is also one of nine districts in Arkansas to receive a grant from the US Department of Justice; nearly $500,000 will increase security on campus with hardware, software, and training including video and audio surveillance and shatter resistant film on windows.
