A new hotel is coming to Texarkana, and city leaders say it will boost tourism and local revenue. The Hyatt Studios, located off Interstate 30 on University Avenue, will be the first in Texas and the fourth in the U.S. This extended-stay hotel will feature 122 rooms with kitchenettes.
Mayor Bob Bruggeman says the hotel will create jobs and increase the city’s hotel tax revenue, calling it a “win-win” for the area. Jason Ballard, head of operations for Hyatt Studios, noted the hotel’s prime location near major highways and upcoming developments like a new hospital and sports complex.
Hyatt Studios is set to open in early 2026.
