It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and Texarkana locomotives will soon be following suit. According to the company’s website, the Canadian Pacific and Kansas City Railroad’s “Holiday Train” will be making its way through Texarkana, for the first time in its history.
The train will be decked out with holiday lights and will be stopping in the area on Nov. 29 at 4:30 pm at Fourth Street railway crossing, east of Leila Street.
The train will also be collecting and encouraging donations of canned food to the local Salvation Army branch.
