In partnership with the Texarkana Independent School District (TISD), the course is accessible to parents of ELL students, with TISD providing free childcare during classes. Mindy Basurto, TISD’s District Coordinator of Multilingual Education, emphasized the program’s role in building stronger connections between families and schools.
