The Literacy Council of Bowie and Miller counties will host an open house at 3PM Friday in their new location at Tucker and Johnson streets on the campus of Texarkana College. The council is looking for volunteers as well as donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items to stock the student pantry. For information about how to get involved call (903) 392-9802.
