Tacos 4 Life of Texarkana, in collaboration with Feed My Starving Children, hosted a mobile packing event on Friday and Saturday at the Texarkana Convention Center to help combat child hunger. Volunteers gathered to pack over 148,000 meals, surpassing the original goal of 135,000.
According to Tacos 4 Life owner, Toney Livingston, this effort set a new record for the most meal packs assembled in Texarkana, providing enough food to sustain 405 children for an entire year.
Livingston expressed his gratitude, saying, “We had the largest turnout and packed the most meals to date! Thank you, Texarkana!”
Tacos 4 Life continues its mission to fight hunger by donating a meal to a child in need for every meal purchased at their restaurant.
