Texas A&M University-Texarkana has lost one of its longtime professors of biology.Dr. David Allard died after a battle with COVID-19 and pneumonia.
A&M President Dr. Ross Alexander said Allard contributed immensely to the development of the science teacher education program at the university.
Allard joined TAMU-T in 1997 and served as Dean of Graduate Studies and Research. He was also a Biology Professor at Texarkana College.
