A 20-year-old Magnolia man, Tre’Larenz Dequan Flowers, is in custody at the Columbia County jail with a $100,000 bond after allegedly threatening a shooting at Magnolia High School in August. Flowers was arrested on August 8 by Magnolia Police outside the high school arena just before a pep rally. Authorities found an AR-15 rifle in plain view in his car.

Police acted on a tip about a potential shooting and learned Flowers had previously threatened others with the same weapon. Flowers also faces charges for allegedly using forged paper tags on his vehicle.

He is charged with threatening mass violence on school property, possession of a firearm on school property, and forgery. If released on bond, Flowers is prohibited from entering any school property or using drugs or alcohol. His case will be heard by Arkansas Circuit Judge David Talley Jr., and his arraignment is scheduled for next week.
