Timothy Edward Smith, 65, allegedly brought 1.2 grams of meth to a Texarkana hospital, so the staff could test it and make sure it was safe for his consumption. While Smith waited, the hospital staff called 911.
Smith was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.
According to jail records, Smith remains on a $7,500 surety bond at the Bi-State Detention Center.
