Man Sentenced to Over 12 Years in Federal Prison for Fentanyl Trafficking

A Texarkana man was sentenced to over 12 years in federal prison for distributing counterfeit pain pills containing fentanyl.

A Texarkana man was sentenced to over 12 years in federal prison for distributing counterfeit pain pills containing fentanyl.

Kolton Todd Saulsbury, 35, received a 151-month sentence from U.S. District Judge Robert Schroeder III. Saulsbury admitted to selling fake pills resembling prescription hydrocodone from September 2021 to November 2022. The pills, stamped with “M-30,” were laced with fentanyl.

Following his prison term, Saulsbury will serve five years of supervised release. He is one of five defendants in a fentanyl distribution conspiracy case. His co-defendants have received sentences ranging from 10 to 17 years. All pleaded guilty.
