More than 200 dancers rehearse for “The Nutcracker” performances that begin Friday

Set to Tchaikovsky's familiar music, with choreography by TCB member teachers and directors, the 2023 production continues the holiday tradition.

More than 200 young dancers are busy in final rehearsals for this year’s local production of “The Nutcracker.”Texarkana Community Ballet will present four performances of the ballet this weekend at the Perot Theatre downtown.

“The Nutcracker” is scheduled for 7 pm Friday, Dec. 1^st, at 2 pm and 7 pm Saturday, Dec. 2^nd, and at 2 pm Sunday, Dec. 3^rd.
