Early Sunday morning, July 21, 2024, a Texarkana Arkansas Police officer attempted to stop three motorcycles on Arkansas Boulevard around 1:02 am. The motorcycles fled, leading to a pursuit. One motorcycle collided with a passenger vehicle at the Jefferson Avenue intersection. The motorcyclist was ejected and later died at Saint Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana, Texas. The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was treated on the scene.
The other two motorcyclists remain at large. The Arkansas State Police are investigating the crash
