The victims of convicted child molester Nolan Dean Turner have been awarded a $26 million civil settlement to pay for medical expenses, therapy, pain and suffering, mental anguish, and punitive damages. Turner was found guilty in 2020 of continued sexual abuse of a child under 14. The Sixth Appellate District of Texas denied Turner’s appeal to overturn the conviction and he will serve 30 years without parole.
