A plane made an emergency landing on Highway 67 in Miller County, southwest Arkansas, on Tuesday afternoon. According to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred after 4:35 p.m. when the aircraft, en route from an air show in Wisconsin to Texarkana Airport, ran out of fuel.
Both the pilot and passenger were unharmed. The plane was towed to Texarkana Airport after landing. The Federal Aviation Administration has been notified. Miller County deputies, Arkansas State Police, and emergency management officials were on the scene, managing traffic and responding to the incident.
