Portions of Texarkana, Arkansas will see its streets shut down today as Swepco is upgrading its aging infrastructure. Commuters should anticipate lane closures on Jefferson Avenue spanning from 18th to 24th streets.
Doug Warner, the representative of Swepco Communications, points to the construction along the roadside as a sign of progress. This endeavor is part of Swepco’s Ashdown – 12th Street Transmission Line Rebuild project, spanning Miller and Little River counties across a 19-mile stretch.
