Summit Utilities Arkansas is awarding $50,000 in grants to support 23 non-profit organizations across the state. The grants focus on non-profits that provide basic human needs, promote STEAM education, enhance community vitality, and support environmental stewardship.
Fred Kirkwood, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Summit, said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to building strong community partnerships and supporting organizations that improve well-being in Arkansas.
The grant recipients are 501(c)(3) non-profits within Summit’s service area. Summit also encourages community involvement by offering its employees up to 20 hours of paid time off annually for volunteer work.
