TexAmericas Center Announces Expansion of EnviroSafe Demil, Boosting Local Economic Growth

TexAmericas Center, one of the largest mixed-use industrial parks in the U.S., announced the growth of EnviroSafe Demil LLC, a clean tech ammunition demilitarization company. The company relocated from Nevada to TexAmericas Center in 2023, bringing $25 million in regional investment and $363 million in contract value. EnviroSafe has since expanded its workforce and technology capabilities, recently retrofitting 40,000 square feet across four buildings.

The company plans to add 30 high-tech jobs by the end of the year, with most positions starting at $20 per hour. EnviroSafe is also the first Texarkana company to receive a USDA Business & Industry Loan, supporting rural economic growth.

Scott Norton, CEO of TexAmericas Center, praised EnviroSafe’s growth, highlighting its positive impact on the local economy.
