TexAmericas Center is reporting record job growth, attracting more businesses to the ArkLaTex region.
According to the center’s 2024 Annual Tenant Employee Census, jobs grew by 7%, with a 62% increase in combined annual payroll from last year, totaling nearly $100 million for Bowie County tenants.
Scott Norton, TexAmericas Executive Director, says the industrial park’s efforts are driving economic growth. “Our goal is to create jobs and a strong tax base for the region,” Norton said.
The report highlights the center’s ongoing success in boosting employment and salaries, benefiting the entire Texarkana area.
