A local animal advocacy group is calling for tougher laws against dangerous dogs after a Miller County woman died from a dog attack last weekend. The Texarkana Animal Coalition Team says the group’s mission is to improve the lives of pets and people and is asking Arkansas legislatorrs to craft a dangerous dog bill that will hold pet owners more accountable for the vicious behavior of their dogs. They’re hoping lawmakers will take the matter up in January.
