The Texarkana Arkansas Convention Center has informed the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department about fraudulent activity involving someone named Kathleen Miller Mitchell who is falsely representing the center to book an event. Mitchell has been posing as a representative for an Arts and Craft event Happening in late April and reaching out to individuals through Facebook, falsely claiming it as a confirmed event. She is soliciting deposits to a PayPal account. Please do not give any financial information to this individual as this is indeed a scam.
