On Monday Texarkana, Arkansas city leaders approved the sale of a surplus public works grapple truck, dump truck and backhoe and a joint resolution with Texarkana, Texas to support the Metropolitan Planning Organization’s grant application for State Line corridor improvements. The city is asking for nearly $17 million; in past years neither Texarkana city was selected to receive the federal grant.
