Last Thursday, 44-year-old Timothy Brooks was arrested at a residence on Skyline Blvd. following the discovery of a substantial drug cache. The Texarkana Texas Police Department Special Investigations Unit, in collaboration with the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, executed a search warrant at the location. This joint investigation led to the seizure of approximately 25 pounds of methamphetamine, over 13,000 Ecstasy pills, several pounds of marijuana, and a stolen pistol.
Brooks was apprehended at the scene due to felony warrants for DWI (3rd offense or more) and a parole violation. He is currently detained at the Bi-State Jail. Additional drug-related charges are expected to be filed soon after their investigators consult with prosecutors.
The Texarkana Texas Police Department extend their gratitude to the Sheriff’s Offices in Little River and Lafayette counties for their invaluable assistance in this investigation, alongside the Miller County Sheriff’s Office.
