A man who allegedly tried to grab a gun from a hospital security officer is facing felony charges. 35 year old Willy Kidd reportedly was behaving normally when he came to CHRISTUS St. Michael’s Hospital on November 1st but suddenly began acting erratically. As his vital signs were being checked, Kidd allegedly began cursing the staff and walked out. He then returned, threw a chair at an employee and reached for a guard’s gun. He is being held in the Bowie County jail on $50,000 bond and is charged with attempting to take a weapon from an officer.
