The Texarkana Police Department is asking the community to help curb the violence after a recent rash of shootings.
On Oct. 28, Texarkana police launched an investigation into its second mass shooting of the year. three people died, and another three were injured. On November 19th a young lady was shot at a local apartment complex, and finally a shooting last Tuesday night in the parking lot of a local fast food restaurant sent two men to the hospital
Shawn Vaughn, Public Information Officer for the Texarkana Texas Police Department, are committed to stopping the people responsible, and emphasized the need for the community to unite and stand against such behavior and say, “‘This is not how we want people who live in our community to behave. We need them to take action to prevent violent crime.”
