The community is invited to take part in the “Fall Sweep” clean-up event on Saturday, September 28th, from 8 a.m. to noon. Organized by Keep Texarkana Beautiful, volunteers will work alongside the City of Texarkana to focus on specific areas, with roll-off containers provided at four locations:
– Rosehill Community Center (1303 Milam St.)
– Polly Chapel Baptist (2123 Spruce St.)
– Beverly Community Center (901 Lumpkin St.)
– Findley Park, Liberty-Eylau
Residents are reminded that items like batteries, tires, paint, and large appliances cannot be disposed of in the roll-off containers. For more information, contact the Planning and Community Development Department at (903) 798-3904.
