The suspect involved in the stabbing incident on North State Line Avenue last Friday has been identified as 28-year-old Deldrick Ladell-Wade Bailey from Texarkana, Arkansas. Bailey faces charges of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. According to the Texarkana Texas Police Department, Bailey allegedly stabbed a man who had run into traffic and was subsequently hit by a vehicle.

Bailey is currently held at the Bowie County Correctional Center, with no bond set as of Tuesday afternoon.

The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. in the 2300 block of State Line. Police suspect that the stabbing stemmed from an ongoing conflict that escalated in front of a State Line business. Investigators believe Bailey brandished a knife and pursued the victim.
