The City of Texarkana, Texas, has entered into a new agreement with Texarkana College to boost community development, economic growth, and workforce training. City Manager David Orr said the partnership formalizes existing collaborations and provides access to college resources for the city’s 500 employees. Benefits include access to the Pinkerton Center, internships, and the EPA’s job training program.
College President Jason Smith emphasized the importance of the agreement, saying it will offer real-world opportunities for students while supporting the city’s growth.
