The Texarkana Texas Police Department has introduced its newest K9, Gator, a 16-month-old Belgian Malinois. Trained in drug detection, apprehension, and tracking, Gator has already shown impressive skills. His handler, Officer Jonathan Price, praised him as a great partner. During training in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Gator successfully completed a track that had been set 12 hours earlier. The department believes Gator will be a valuable addition to their K9 program.
