Ryan Wall, the head coach of Texas A&M University-Texarkana’s men’s basketball team, has been appointed as the university’s new Director of Athletics. Wall, who has been with TAMUT for six years and led the men’s basketball program since its inception, will now oversee the university’s athletic department.
“We are pleased and fortunate to announce Ryan Wall as the university’s Director of Athletics,” said Dr. Ross Alexander, President of TAMUT. “He strives for excellence in everything he does and is dedicated to supporting student athletes. His passion for this university and its students makes him the ideal choice as our athletic department continues to grow.”
Wall expressed his excitement about the new role, thanking Dr. Alexander for his trust and support. “My family and I are thrilled to be part of the TAMUT community and look forward to contributing to the future of our athletic department and university,” said Wall.
As Director of Athletics, Wall will lead TAMUT’s expanding sports programs and facilities, continuing to build on the relationships and successes he has cultivated during his time with the university.
